Animated visuals for an audio play

An audiovisual play about the stories of the people involed in the Bosnian War, as observed by a young Dutch journalist. She journeys through the scarred cities and countryside of Bosnia, and meets the people that live within this ravaged world.

To completely immerse the primary school children watching the play in the visuals, an installation was built which surrounded viewers by two-meter high screens to their left, right, and in front of them. The locations and characters of the play were then projected on these screens.
